Weimar, July 2004
From a floating stage on the romantic waters of the so called Weimarhallenpark, the orchestra “Staatskapelle des Deutschen Nationaltheaters” enchanted its highbrow audience on a warm July summer night with a fascinating musical performance of works by Russian composers from the late 19th and 20th century. The audience gathered in the former German royal seat Weimar to experience acoustically a real RUSSIAN FAIRY TALE as promised by the promoter “Kulturstadt GmbH Weimar” that was assisted by “adapoe sound Veranstaltungstechnik GmbH” responsible for the technical execution and overall support.
As YAMAHA Mixing desks have successfully been brought into action in prior high performance events, it was simply natural to reply time and again on the flagship of the digital PM-series to grant full technical support to this lavish realisation of the Russian fairy tale. Matthias Bormann (FoH) and Michael Schueller (Stage manager) responsible for the technical realisation of the promising event were highly content with the user-friendliness and technical potentials of the PM1D system.
Master sound engineer Konrad Aust (user of a DM2000 at the theatre “Deutsches Nationaltheater”) and national orchestra and chief conductor Jac van Steen were responsible for the musical realization.
