With already 4 02R's installed in their Mobile Ü2 and Studio Siegen, and many other Yamaha gear like 01V's, AD824's, NS10M's, SPX's and more, the long term relation between Heinen Mobile Studios and Yamaha has again been extended with the choice of two DM2000 systems.

The new Ü3 broadcast van of HEINEN MOBILE STUDIOS is in operation since May 2003 and covers all areas of local broadcasting and recording. With two cascaded Yamaha DM2000's, 192 channels can be assigned. For recording several parallel systems can be used; Tascam MX2424 (up to 96 tracks, ProTools compatible), Tascam DA88/78 (48 tracks), Logic Audio (48 tracks Motu) and Samplitude (8 tracks). All the analogue signals are being routed using one central LEMO patchbay, while the digital signals are being routed using the internal DM2000 patchbay.

Further equipment is from Focusride, Tascam, Lexicon, TC, Urei, dbx, Rosendahl, Adam Smith, XTA, Allen & Heath is being used. The van is equipped with several computers to burn cd's, print sheets, etc on the fly. For the more basic needs a coffeemachine, microwave and refrigerator are also implemented. The Ü3 is being operated by a team of 2 to 3 technicians and has already proven itself in productions with Xavier Naidoo, DJ Bobo, Beginner, World Guitar Ensemble and many others for live-broadcast and recording for TV, CD and DVD.
