Yamaha Music UK Ltd. is currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual for our Milton Keynes Head Office within our Commercial Audio team which is part of our Pro-Music Division.

Sales Support – Commercial Audio

Pro-Music Division

Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, you will be the overall audio facilitator for this department as well as the first point of reference for dealers in the UK. Within this high profile role you will take and process orders from dealers, handle pre-sales enquiries, check pricing/product availability, refer post sales technical issues to the relevant manager and manage demo/loan stock. You will also be responsible for trade show/marketing project administration and other ad-hoc administrative duties/projects as required.

You will need confidence, have excellent communication skills and the ability to build a good rapport with our dealers using a pro-active professional approach. A keen interest in professional audio products or a musical background is essential as are strong administrative skills. You must be fully computer literate in Microsoft Office applications and have a current full driving licence as regular driving of the company vehicle will be necessary. This role will involve some heavy lifting therefore the ability to undertake this is a requirement of this position. Flexibility is also a must as some weekend and outside office hours working will be required.

Sales Engineer Live/Sound Reinforcement

Territory: BeNeLux

Your duties:

  • You will consult and service our sales partners as well as investors in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg regarding technical solutions in the Live Sound/Sound Reinforcement domain.
  • By visiting potential investors and sales agents, you will obtain new customers and develop your sales territory.
  • The ongoing analysis of your customer portfolio, the assessment of opportunities in your investor market and detailed reporting will form the basis for the growth rates in your sales territory.
  • You will participate in Yamaha trade fairs and initiate regional exhibitions and seminars in cooperation with internal services.

Your profile:

  • You distinguish yourself by a high degree of self-responsibility & self-initiative.
  • You are a personality with sales qualities already proven in the industry.
  • You have strong networking skills and are well-acquainted with the top players in the rental and touring business in the Benelux countries.
  • You are an excellent teamplayer.

Your qualifications:

  • Fluency in Dutch and English, written and spoken, French is considered an advantage.
  • MBO or equivalent education
  • You have a valid EU driving license and are willing to travel.
  • You live in or are willing to move to the sales territory.
  • You have substantial technical knowledge as well as very good skills in pro-audio technology, ideally acquired through a solid training programme.
  • Experience in the sale of professional acoustic and production solutions as well as good understanding of electrical acoustics are a plus.
